The Abby S. Zeitlan Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year to an inspirational leader at Sharon High School with an entrepreneurial spirit and a unique ability to always think outside the box.
It was established in 2011 in memory of Abby Zeitlan, a Sharon, Massachusetts resident, mother of three, and business leader, who passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2011. Abby loved mentoring young people, and inspiring them to follow in her footsteps. She was also passionate about a college education, something she worked tirelessly to ensure her children could achieve. It is for these reasons Abby's family, friends, and two business partners established the Abby S.Zeitlan Memorial Scholarship.
First awarded in the spring of 2012, we hope to grow this scholarship year after year to help even more young leaders realize their dreams.
